Last year I had the pleasure of working alongside Melissa of Walter & George on her branding and website. Walter & George is a handmade leather goods shop here in San Diego and seriously, her stuff is so good! Her Georgie card holder is one of my absolute favorites. I have it in both the natural and in black and am constantly getting compliments. Anyways, working with Melissa over the past year has quickly turned into such a meaningful friendship. I’ve been able to watch her grow from an online shop into a physical store and it’s been SO cool. Honestly this is the best part of helping small businesses, seeing them flourish. A few weeks ago I stopped in and took some photos of her shop and loved seeing how everything came together! Take a peek below:

I made this logo using an actual paint splatter from one of her pieces. So fun seeing how this turned out on her shop door!

Happy Friday! This week I wrapped up a logo project for a marketing company I’ve been working with and I’m totally in love with everything we designed together. I love when I dive into a project and the people I’m working with are super enthusiastic and inspiring. It makes the project all the more fun and exciting when you see the final results come together. Here are some of my favorite rejected options from this project. We wanted to keep it really simple and clean while still having a luxurious feel. You can see the final logo that was selected here.

I also updated my site with new projects this week. Take a look! → NOIRVE.COM

Nothing like the start of a new year to kick off a new branding project! This moodboard is for a marketing agency focusing on health and wellness with all of their clients based along the west coast and Hawaii(hence the tropical vibe going on here). I love it! Another thing I love about this project? It’s full of some really driven women who focus on working together, sistering and collaborating. They’ve given me complete creative control so I’ve been hard at work on their concepts. Will reveal this project soon! x

Awhile back Lindsay came to me wanting to completely change her business name and start fresh with a new brand and website that reflected her growing company. After some late nights drinking wine and brainstorming new names together we came up with Made to Thrive. Lindsay partners with graphic designers to build easy, beautiful websites for small businesses. She builds websites that help her clients grow, develop and thrive. I love the name! Once we established a great name and she bought the domain I got to work on her branding and website design. This was one of my favorite projects this year, Lindsay really let me take creative control while also throwing in her ideas for me to work with. I had so much fun and am really proud of this business she’s building. Check out her site for yourself here!
