A few weeks back I went to San Francisco with my family and it was so fun. I haven’t been to San Francisco since before I moved away from Reno over 8 years ago so everything was so new to me! It’s changed so much since that last time I’ve been. We managed to cram a ton of touristy things into our schedule which made for a really crazy and interesting trip. We went to Baker Beach, had grilled oysters at Hog Island Oyster co, adventured around the Sutro Baths, Fishermans Wharf, went to the Coit tower, Lombard Street, Painted ladies, and ended the trip at Battery Spencer with an incredible view of the Golden Gate Bridge. I had a blast and Aaron and I are already trying to plan a trip up here together. Until next time, SF.

Wow what a year 2015 was! I seriously feel like it was one of the best years I’ve ever had. From getting married, traveling, working with the most incredible clients + making some amazing friends here in San Diego, I really can’t wait to see what the new year brings and 2015 will be a hard one to top.
I know I haven’t blogged much here but I really want to get back to it and start sharing more here with you all. Over Christmas we went back to our hometown Reno and got to enjoy the snow for a week. It was so much fun! I miss being up in the mountains and snowboarding so much. Aaron and I are already trying to plan a couple snowboarding trips before the season ends. I got a new camera last month so I’ve been really trying to shoot more and hone in on my style. Here are some pictures I took while out with my sister exploring Donner Lake and then up in Tahoe! x
Ah! I’m so excited to share these photos with you all. A few weeks back I got to thinking about how Aaron and I didn’t have any engagement photos. I mean, we were considering these as our engagement photos but I had NO idea that that day I’d be getting engaged so I definitely would’ve chosen a different outfit and washed my hair, ha! So we decided to ask our friends Anna + Andrew from Deer Lovers if they’d be down for an engagement session with us. And they were!! We wanted to be a little different with our shoot and thought it would be super cool to have photos from the sand dunes just 2 hours east of San Diego. I am completely blown away! Anna and Andrew did such an amazing job capturing Aaron and I in 110 degree heat and you can’t even tell we broke a sweat! We’re so so excited about these and I’m so happy we decided to get photos done. Thanks Anna and Andrew!!! x
Recently my friend Jane moved to San Diego all the way from Dallas with her family and I am SO excited. Every Monday we spend the morning working at random coffee shops around the city and last weekend she let me practice my photography on her and her family. They are such a good looking family. I told myself last year that I would consistently work on my photography this year until I’m comfortable shooting and I’m finally getting in my groove. PLUS I’ve found children are one of the hardest subjects to photograph but I’m actually really happy with that shots I got of the kids this round. Thanks Jane + Conor!! :)
